Bruno Mars - It Will Rain [Official Music Video]
The Lyrics : I didn't really like the lyrics but I love it's melody so much that I keep singing it everywhere I go, Whatever I'm doing. Bruno Mars you're the man!
If you ever leave me, baby,
Leave some morphine at my door
Cause it would take a whole lot of medication
To realize what we used to have, We don't have it anymore.
There's no religion that could save me
No matter how long my knees are on the floor, oh
So keep in mind all the sacrifices I'm making
Will keep you by my side
Will keep you from walking out the door.
Cause there'll be no sunlight if I lose you, baby
There'll be no clear skies if I lose you, baby
Just like the clouds, my eyes will do the same
if you walk away
Everyday, it will rain, rain, rain
I'll never be your mother's favorite
Your daddy can't even look me in the eye Oooh
if I was in their shoes,
I'd be doing the same thing
Saying there goes my little girl walking with that troublesome guy
But they're just afraid of something they can't understand Oooh
well little darling watch me change their minds Yea
for you I'll try, I'll try, I'll try
I'll pick up these broken pieces 'til I'm bleeding
If that'll make you mine
Cause there'll be no sunlight if I lose you, baby
There'll be no clear skies if I lose you, baby
Just like the clouds, my eyes will do the same
if you walk away
Everyday, it will rain, rain, rain
Ooooh Don't you say goodbye, don't just say, goodbye
I'll pick up these broken pieces 'til I'm bleeding
If that'll make it right
Cause there'll be no sunlight if I lose you, baby
There'll be no clear skies if I lose you, baby
Just like the clouds, my eyes will do the same
if you walk away
Everyday, it will rain, rain, rain...

Parent Teacher Conference
We all went to Doniella's school yesterday for Parent-Teacher conference. The " D-Gang" lol, the five of us coz we didn't have a sitter. It supposedly just Parents, but the teacher was so nice to let the kids in, made it so easy for us. We're just lucky the little bratz were so behave inside the classroom, my husband and I were able to have a nice talk with the teacher. We are so proud of all the positive feedback from her first grade teacher. Our little Elle is doing really good in school, her reading and writing skills are excellent and her artwork is remarkable. That we are thinking of getting her real ones (art supplies,I mean) and see how she'll do. And today we decided to enroll her at Young Rembrandt, one of her school's enrichment program. So aside from learning Violin, roller skates, riding her bike and school, we'll add art to her list of activities. After all, she always wanted to be an artist when she grow up.
A Teacher and an artist. She's going to be one busy 6 yr old. With all these I'm hoping not to hear the words "I'm bored Mom!" ever again. She loves school and so glad that she is doing great.

Jealousy: He said,She said....
I'm dealing with a current family situation that is totally hilarious. I never remember my family as dramatic in dealing with life's situation anyways, I always remember us taking life's challenges very lightly. Now, I'm torn between believing or laughing, I guess I chose to just laugh about it. My parents, after almost 35 years of being married suddenly doubted each others love. At first I thought I was just being insensitive to even joke about it, or maybe part of my brain is hoping it isn't really happening. Jealousy tsk tsk tsk.... :)
I talked to my mom on the phone last week and listened to her side of the story. Honestly I felt bad, I was angry at my Dad. I told her " You guys are too old for dramas like this , Mom!" I worry a little bit. My only concern was being too far away from my Mom, that when she needs me I can't be there for her right away. But now after talking to my Dad, I thought It was really funny. He told me everything and we started laughing about it. But I also told him to do something, talk to my mom and try to deal with the situation like adults and not act like teenagers. OMG,good thing they don't have Facebook,I hate to read their status updates. As a married woman I could go on and on about how sometimes we feel unloved, lonely, neglected, that marriage becomes less and less intimate as we grow older. It's hard when insecurities are slowly eating you. I don't really know what my mom is going through right now but I promise her that what ever happen I'll always be there for her and that she is not alone.

'7 New Wonders Of Nature' Named
And my home town is one of them. Puerto Princesa City's Underground River made it, I can't help but be proud. I remember my first time here(It was ages ago), t'was our class field trip back in '96. I was excited but scared, it's an underground river, it's tight,it's dark and I wasn't too adventurous back then I guess. But it was an amazing experience. Today it is one of the main attractions in Puerto Princesa Subterranean Park. and not to mention the beaches. I can't wait to bring my family here, I'm sure my girls are gonna have a blast.

Kids Thanksgiving Krafts : "TheTurkey Project"
This is how a project comes out when you throw ideas from a 4 yr old, 6 yr old and a ' never mind- old ' kids. This project is a family effort turkey project for my first grader. We never had a chance to get out and buy stuff from the craft store so we settled with what we can find at home. I think It came out looking like a queen turkey as what my 6 yr old wanted it to be.

My Picky Little 2 yr old fashionista
My two year old is driving me crazy lately because of her clothing choices. It is ruffling my invisible feathers. I let her take charge of what she wears every now and then, because I understand she is 2 and she is now exploring her new found independence but.... it could be annoying at some point. I've been doing some readings about it and I take comfort that almost all parents experienced the same thing and oh, I'm glad my little doll hates being naked because I read some 2yr old loves to be naked. What my babydoll is doing though, are changing her clothes almost 5 to 10 times a day, don't like the clothes that I picked for her, she screams if you try to put it on and dressing turns into wrestling between us. She also likes wearing only clothes with disney princess on it though she doesn't particularly like watching disney princess's movies. And now she hates wearing a sweater or coat. She love her old tired hand me down disney princess pajama, you just can't take it off or it could horribly turns into a loud screaming fit. She loves this red shoes in this photo, even though it hurts her feet. There was one time, all she wants to wear is her Strawberry Shortcake swimsuit, glad that's over. I put it away so she won't see, that was the only solution. I'm sure it's just a phase but it sure is a lot of work especially in the Patience side.
My 6 yr old on the other hand is not a picky dresser, thank goodness! As long as it's not too tight or too short for her, she is fine. We only argue about her shoes though cause she loves her twinkle shoes.Cause her Bff's in her class are all wearing twinkle shoes. And so is my 4 yr old,not a picky dresser at all. I'm just glad, I wish for this phase to last as long as it could.
I only have two rules in dressing my kids, as I'm not a fashionista myself.
1. it has to be clean and
2. it should atleast match.
But I gave up on those too.

November Rain
I don't know why rain does this to me. Ever since I remember, when it rains I feel crap, I act weird, my attitude change. If it's raining I assure you I'm in a crappy mood. It rained last night and that is the reason why it's almost 4 am here, I am still wide awake. I can't get out of the punk that this rain has caused me.
The nostalgia is killing me, It's worst than hearing my all time favorite song. Something about the rain makes me miss my family back in the Philippines, something about it makes me remember my childhood and worst something about the rain makes me question happiness weather I am or not, where or what?
That is why I love this GunsNroses' song.....because maybe it's what I need, who knows, how would I know?

To all 'Scarf-Challenged' like Me
I was reading Miss Veronica Lee's blog and I came across this post, hope she won't mind me sharing this. You can definitely check her blog " Of Mice and Ramen " you'll love it. I am one of those, or maybe I am the only one who is having a hard time putting on a scarf of any kind. Scarf is a perfect Fall and Winter accessory but wearing it literally feels like I'm being choked. I must be doing it wrong, either scarf is too long, short or my neck is just too short to wear it. I'll go for the latter part.I feel like scarf is not for me. But 'Brrrr' season is approaching and I sure could use one. I enjoyed watching this video, and if you are like me who gave up on scarf, maybe we'll give it one more try. You'll enjoy this video. Great for people like me, or maybe just for me,coz I still think I'm the only one with 'scarf-issues' lol!

Donkey: "Celebrity Marriages, they don't last ,do they?"
I am not watching 'Keeping up with the Kardashians' for one reason, we don't have cable at home only Educational, kid movies and the likes. But really I don't think I would even if I could, too much drama. Oh well you don't need to anyway they are everywhere, magazines,Internet,Radio and Twitter. The latest Buzz was the recent divorce after only 72 days of being married to Kris Humphries ,now whether it is a publicity or not, the whole thing is CRAZY. Even me writing about it is crazy. But whatever is true,TV plot or not, people love keeping up with the Kardashians.
On the serious note, celebrity marriages, they don't last do they? But why go through the whole thing for nothing. Oh well I don't want to sound so affected lol! If you love the spotlight, you will do what you gotta do to get there. I read an article from a magazine about Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony's divorce, that it was for the sake of their kids. Since when is being having divorce parents a better choice for the kids? In the Philippines (at least how I grew up knowing) it is always because of the kids why couples stay married, even if parents sleep in different rooms. It's the sacrifice you have to make as parents. I remember a friend, who was once abused by her husband,I asked her why stay? She said she can't leave because she love her kids, she does not want them growing up without a father. I don't know if there are still stories like that back home, maybe Philippines is now influenced by Hollywood's lifestyle. Oh well, but I don't know why I'm sad. Do I wish I'm a celebrity, yes! sometimes..if you catch my drift!?!?

Too Personal!
This blog is pretty much new, Yes I started it since 2008 but I had only one or two posts back then and I lost interest (got hooked to Facebook, for sure just like many others). It is only this year, about 3 months ago actually that I found out how much I enjoyed blogging. I was wondering if it's okey to write something personal that is too personal, like admitting on the web how much I am struggling within. Admitting it out loud to my self is scary how much more venting it out 'cyberly'. I don't know. I heard it's a good thing to vent on the web and be surprise how much advice you get from people you don't even know. And that you are not alone with your struggle. I don't want to sound like I complain too much, I also know that sometimes friends get tired of listening to the same b#llS*#t you are telling them that all they want to see from you is to finally do something. Sometimes, griping is likely to put you down than giving you benefit,I found that out to be true. Today I want to start a complain-free day and see if I could last a week, NOT- complaining is free anyway.

Our 2011 Halloween
This Years Halloween is the best Halloween night we had so far because of the beautiful weather. I think this was the first time, I didn't freeze to death or got drizzled on. With the exemption that my youngest, bridgybrat is not feeling good. She had a temperature, so she was on a "carry me mommy" mood. Too much candy from Last night. I have to hide the rest of the candies they got from trick or treating cause I know what is going to happen, they will eat 'em all in one sitting. Went trick or treating today at Tait Avenue, the Los Gatos legendary closed street halloween event, It was crazy crowded. But we are definitely going back there next year. And good thing we came early, we had time to go back trick or treating around our neighborhood where it wasn't as crazy as Tait Avenue. We got better candies too, better means Kitkats and Twixx. Love' em!
By the way,Corrine is wearing Doniella's costume here last year, Bridget is wearing Corrine's little red riding hood costume two years ago. I guess part of the privileges of being the eldest is always getting the new ones. Or until her younger sisters don't yet know how to complain.
I came as my self except for my $2 props, my spider head piece that gave me headache :(

DIY: Jasmine Tea Toner/Moisturizer
An unlikely friend /acquaintance (that is even questionable) brought a bunch of Tea bags from different Hotels He has stayed. This one, intrigued me cause of how it was packaged,Pyramid. Neat actually a scented Tea wrapped in this cute little pyramid bag.
So I tried it,brew the tea pyramid bag but, it was too bitter for me. In short I didn't like it. I was tempted to pour it in the sink but then I realized, I saw a Youtube tutorial about a "Do- it- yourself" Tea Toner or Moisturizer using Green Tea. So I said, the heck a tea is a tea right, I hate to waste an expensive looking tea. On the video she mixed a little bit of Olive oil to the mixture, I didn't do that.
I just put it in a little travel size spray bottle that looks just like these guys that I got cheap from the drugstores. And put it in the refrigerator. Now I have my own antioxidant sspray
So Now every time I feel like my face is dry I just quickly spray it on my face, It feels so refreshing and it smells terrific! If I ran out, I'll try the Green Tea next time, it may not smell like this scented Jasmine Tea. I heard green Tea has a lot of health benefit to your skin.

Getting even? Who taught you that?
My two year old just hit me in the forehead, of course it hurts and I am the only one to blame :-(
Well,She usually does it with objects, when something hurts her. She come to me every time she bumped into something and always want to me to hit it back.
Like for example she bump on the table, she would want me to spank the table back and say "bad table huh? it hurt you,you bad table you!" and to anything that hurts her. She always tell me what her sisters did to her and she would want me to reprimand them. So to soothe her hurt little ego, mommy gave in. I'll pretend I hit the object back, the stuff that hurt her. Although I know you are not supposed to say " No, hitting!" to your kid and yet you do it right? Mommy mistake # 101 ( Oh and I do have a lot!). One day, her lips hit my head ( hit it pretty hard too) while playing with her. She cried and asked me to kiss her boo-boo, so I did. I said sorry to her, that it was just an accident but then out of nowhere after she stopped crying, slapped my forehead. Hard! I was caught unaware,so she hit my right eye pretty good. It was painful but what are you gonna do? She learned it from me I guess, internalized what I've been doing to those objects that hurt her and did it to me. Time to change huh? Yes.

*** That is my little drawing up there by the way, thought I tried :)
